About Cherokee Tiger Orange

‘Cherokee Tiger Orange’ is a very beautiful and prolific selection from the ‘Cherokee Tiger Black’ line, that comes from the original cross made by Bill Jeffers of Evansville, Indiana, USA, between tiger-striped dwarf tomato variety ‘Tigrette’ and ‘Cherokee Purple’.
Compact, indeterminate dwarf-type plants with regular and rugose leaf foliage produce a good yield of medium (3-4oz./80-120g), oblate, orange striped fruits with dense and juicy flesh. Good, sweet, and fruity tomato flavors. Perfect for growing in large pots on balconies or terraces. Midseason, about 78 days to maturity.
