About Cherokee Tiger Large

Cherokee Tiger Large is a variety developed from the original cross made by Bill Jeffers of Evansville, Indiana, USA between tiger striped dwarf tomato variety ‘Tigrette’ and ‘Cherokee Purple’. Selected and stabilized by Dean Slater of Michigan, USA. Very compact, determinant, dwarf type, bushy plant with a beautiful, chartreuse colored, regular leaf foliage. Medium (about 180-300g), oblate beefsteaks with ruffled shoulders, red and yellow striped outside and red inside. Very good tomato taste, more acidic than sweet. Midseason, about 75-80 days to mature.
