About Cherevychky (Черевички)

‘Cherevychky’ is a very unusual variety from the Ukrainian ‘GL Seeds’ company. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with an outstanding yield of medium-sized (4-6oz./100-150g), glossy-red, strongly elongated (almost finger-shaped) paste-type fruits. Meaty flesh and a small number of seeds make them perfect for canning and cooking or drying. Midseason, about 75 days from transplant.

*There are two strains under the same name, that differ a little bit in shape and weight – one bigger, more pepper-like-shaped originated from Bashkiria, Russia. ‘Cherevychky’ tomato described above is more elongated and thinner, of Ukrainian origin.
