About Champ Martin

‘Champ Martin’ is an outstanding, elongated, paste-type tomato that originated in France.
An indeterminate tomato plant with regular and wispy leaf foliage is loaded with a very good yield of pepper-like-shaped, sometimes pointy fruits. The medium-sized (5-8oz./150-230g), red tomatoes are firm and fleshy, and have sweet, good, old-fashioned tomato flavors. A great selection for canning or cooking, but also a good choice for fresh eating in salsa or salad. Mid-season, first ripe fruits can be harvested about 70-80 days after transplant.
