Heirloom introduced in 1910. Created by James Chalk of Norristown, PA, introduced in 1899. Indeterminate plants that yield heavy crops of 6 oz., smooth, round, red globes that are solidly meaty, with only a few small seed-cells, and of remarkably fine sweet flavor with balanced acidity.
