Introduced in 1997 by Tom Stearns of High Mowing Organic Seeds who received the seed from Bryan Connolly of Mansfield Center, Connecticut. Very similar to Red Calabash variety. A unique, regular leaf, multi-ribbed, slightly flattened, mini-beefsteak heirloom tomato, red with some orange shoulders and 2-inch across. Good sweet, rich, distinctive flavor with a clean tart finish. A perfect choice for slicing into salads and sauces. RARE
