About Carol Chyko’s Big Paste Black
‘Carol Chyko’s Big Paste Black’ was developed from a cross made between very popular and liked ‘Carol Chyko’s Big Paste’ and ‘Black Krim’ tomatoes created by Savior Schembri from Australia. This tomato plant yields big crops of very large (16oz./450g and 3-4″/7-8cm in diameter), meaty, black oxheart fruit with deep mahogany colors and pronounced rich flavors that contain sufficient acid to render this a very tasty tomato. A great varietal for making tomato sauce or slicing up for sandwiches and platters. Mid- to late season, about 80-86 days.
