Originated from Solana Seeds. Distinctly different from Candy Stripe beefsteak variety available via the SSE Yearbook. It is not clear if this variety is related to Old Yellow Candy Stripe beefsteak variety, although Solana Seeds ‘s 2009 Catalog indicates Old Yellow Candy Stripe as an alternative name for this tomato.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces a high yield of small-sized, flattened, light-yellow fruit with faint green stripes on the shoulders when slightly under-ripe and pink blush when fruit is mature. Good mild citrusy flavor. Some concentric cracking occurs under heavy rainfalls.
