About Sozvezdiye Raka (Sozvezdiye Rak, Созвездие Ракa, Созвездие Рак, Cancer)
‘Sozvezdiye Rak’ is a Russian commercial variety, created by Dederko Vladimir Nikolaevich. It was included in the Russian State Register in 2009. This tomato is out of a series of Russian-bred tomatoes named after the Horoscope signs. “Rak” means “Cancer” in English.
An indeterminate tomato plant with regular leaves bearing large (7-11oz./200-300g), reddish pink, pear-shaped fruits. The flesh is smooth and dense with a rich, deep flavor and very few seeds. Recommended for delicious summer salads, and fresh tomato juice. Mid-season, the first ripe fruits can be enjoyed about 70-84 days from transplant.
