About Canadian Heart
According to the name, ‘Canadian Heart’ is probably of Canadian origin. First offered in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook by Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio. Anderson listed it in the Pink section, but other members describe it as red. Introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2015.
Indeterminate, regular leaf foliage vines loaded with very large (14-21oz./400-600g), red blunt hearts with yellow skin, and dense, meaty flesh. Rich, delicious, well-balanced tomato taste and old-fashioned aroma. Midseason, about 70-80 days after transplant.
