About Bychye Serdtse Oranzhevoe (Бычье Сердце Оранжевое)
Bychye Serdtse Oranzhevoe AKA Orange Bull’s Heart (which is a direct translation of the Russian name) is a Russian commercial variety, created by Kachainik Vladimir Georgievich, Gulkin Mikhail Nikolaevich, Karmanova Olga Alekseevna, Matyunina Svetlana Vladimirovna. It was included in the Russian State Register in 2018.
Indeterminate, regular leaf, wispy foliage plant produces a high yield of large, 11oz./300g., heart-shaped, yellow-orange fruit. Very meaty flesh with small seed cavities and a few seeds, excellent sweet flavor, nice smooth texture, no core.
