About Bundaberg Rumball

‘Bundaberg Rumball’ tomato was developed by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project from the cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between ‘Black from Tula’ and ‘Budai Torpe’. Selected by Richard Allen, in the F2 generation. Named by Patrina Nuske Small, after a familiar Australian sweet treat. Stabilization was the collaborative work of Patrina Nuske Small, Howard Kushner, Carol Knapp, Ted Maiden, Christy Shedd, Amanda Fischer, and Craig LeHoullier. This variety was first introduced commercially by ‘Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds’ in 2015.
Vigorous, but compact, regular, and rugose leaf foliage dwarf plant is a heavy producer that yields plenty of delicious small (2-3oz./50-90g), round, chocolate-colored fruits, with rich and complex flavors. Early, 60 days after transplant.
