About Bosque Yellow

Bred by Chuck Burr of Restoration Seeds. Released by J and L gardens in 2010. A cross made of OSU Blue/P20 and Amy’s Sugar Gem. (Dr. Myers at Oregon State developed OSU Blue) Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces abundant crops of small blue tomatoes when they are exposed to the sun. Fruit turns a burnt red-orange to mahogany color when it ripens. Coloring can be variable between orange, plum and yellow. (Note: Blue skin is rich source of anthocyanin, as with a blueberry.) A better fresh eating tomato than the thicker skinned Indigo Rose. Rich flavor, ideal full-body tomato for salads. Protected, do not reproduce seed for resale without permission from the Breeder.
