About Bosque Blue Bumblebee

‘Bosque Blue Bumblebee’ is a rare eye-catching tomato, bred by ‘J&L Gardens Seeds’ and released in 2014.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce abundant yields of the round saladettes weighing 1.4-2.1oz./40-60g with deep purple, anthocyanin shoulders over a glorious yellow background. The tomato’s antho hues becomes darker as its exposure to sunlight increases. Juicy flesh with a luscious texture and a sweet citrus flavor makes them ideal for fresh snacking, and their distinctive appearance makes them a great addition to salads. This variety is disease-resistant and ripens for enjoyment midseason, about 70-75 days after transplant.
