About Black Opal

Possibly one of the best black-fruited varieties on the market. This variety was bred from the popular heirloom Black Cherry and selected for its improved growth habit, firmer texture and superior flavor. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces an abundant yield of 1/2″, beautiful, round tomatoes that are excellent for eating fresh, and cooking into sauces.
