‘Bistecca Pierina’ is an outstanding, old-fashioned family heirloom tomato from Italy. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with prolific yields of large (11-18oz./300-500g), red beefsteaks with ruffled shoulders. Meaty and dense flesh with very few seeds and bold, well-balanced tomato flavors. Mid- to late season, about 80-85 days after transplant.
