About Big Green Dwarf

Developed in the 2006-2013 by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project from a cross between Golden Dwarf Champion and Cherokee Chocolate, made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia. This was the collaborative work of Patrina Nuske Small, Marjorie Holloway (who named it), Craig LeHoullier and Bill Minkey. Introduced commercially by Heritage Tomato Seed and Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2014. Indeterminate, regular rugose leaf, dwarf plants produce medium, 3-7 oz., oblate fruit with green flesh and yellow skin like Cherokee Green. Excellent, balanced, medium intensity flavor that gets sweeter as the season progresses.
