About Belle Maurinoise Jaune (Belle Maurinoise)
‘Belle Maurinoise Jaune’ was bred by Eric Pedebas of France. This is a sister line of ‘Belle Maurinoise Verte’, developed from a cross made between ‘Crimean Black’ and ‘Pineapple’.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce large (6-11oz./180-300g), yellow beefsteaks, slightly flattened and ribbed on the shoulders. The juicy flesh is yellow, sometimes with pink blush on the bottom end. Delicious, sweet, and fruity flavors. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
