About Believe It Or Not
‘Believe It Or Not’ is a beautiful, large-fruited tomato that was first introduced to the public in the 1984 Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook by Dorothy Beiswenger of Crookston, Minnesota, USA. Dorothy obtained its seeds from local nuns and rated the taste as ‘delicious’. It was said to be an heirloom tomato. Commercially available from 2005 in the ‘Terra Edibles’ catalog at Foxboro, Ontario, Canada.
Famous for being a big, healthy, regular leaf tomato plant that produces dependable large crops one of large (9-32oz./260-900g), red beefsteak tomatoes, with smooth shoulders and juicy flesh slicer with excellent flavor. A great slicing and grilling option for summer. Late, about 85-90 days to maturity.
