‘Believe It Or Not’ is a beautiful, large-fruited tomato first introduced to the public in the 1984 Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook by Dorothy Beiswenger of Crookston, Minnesota, USA. Dorothy obtained its seeds from local nuns and rated the taste ‘delicious’. It was said to be an heirloom tomato. Commercially available from 2005 in the ‘Terra Edibles’ catalog at Foxboro, Ontario, Canada.
Famous for being a big, healthy, regular-leaf tomato plant that produces dependable large crops of 9-32oz./260-900g, red beefsteak tomatoes, with juicy flesh and excellent flavor. It is a great slicing and grilling option for summer. Late, about 85-90 days to maturity.
