About Beaussetane
‘Beaussetane’ is an attractive tomato developed by Bruno Fournier of France. He selected it from the F2 line of the ‘Berkeley Tie Dye’ and ‘Indigo Apple’ cross made by Brad Gates. It is a sister line to ‘Clelia’, ‘Ebro’, ‘San Nari’, ‘San Ceri’, ‘Marie Antoinette’, ‘Bandol Blues’, ‘La Cadero’, and ‘Black Beauty’ tomatoes.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce medium (4-7oz./120-200g), bronze and green striped, brown tomatoes with intense pinkish and dense flesh. Juicy, sweet, and smokey flavor with a nice acidic finish. Mid-to-late season.
