About Bananu

‘Bananu’ is a very rare and beautiful tomato variety, the seeds were obtained and saved by A. Kulik, a famous Ukrainian tomato collector. He shared the seeds with Reinhard Kraft, Neukirchen, Germany, who populated this variety in western Europe.
An indeterminate tomato plant with regular and wispy foliage and vines covered with small-sized (2-4oz./50-120g), elongated, light yellow, glossy, banana-shaped fruits. Dense fleshed, meaty fruits with few seeds and rich tomatoey flavors make combine to make the ideal sauce tomato. Early to mid-season, about 68-78 days to maturity.
