About Aviuri

Originated in Russia. Dates back to the early 1990s or late 1980s. The name is an abbreviation of the breeders. First offered in the Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by Glenn Drowns of Calamus, Iowa. Indeterminate, regular leaf, 5′ plant yields good crops of small to medium-sized bright red tomatoes with vivid gold striping. Fruit flesh is dense with fine texture and lots of flavor. They look absolutely beautiful in a mixed basket of tomatoes.
