About Ashland
Introduced by Restoration Seeds in 2013, named for its home town of Ashland, OR. A stable cross with Bosque Blue and Goldman’s Italian American bred by Chuck Burr. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces moderate yields of medium-sized, round, vibrant red tomato with rich purple shoulders. (Unusual coloring can be variable between orange, plum and yellow.) Firm, thick, purple skin is rich source of anthocyanin, as a blueberry. A good shipper. Rich, well-balanced, complex flavors. Ideal for slicing into a salad.
