About Anna Maria’s Heart
‘Anna Maria’s Heart’ is a very beautiful heirloom heart-shaped tomato variety that originated in Russia. First introduced in Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York. Seeds of this variety were saved by Scott Hamilton of Germany – his wife’s family passed down this variety for many years. Named after Scott Hamilton’s wife, Anna Maria.
Indeterminate, regular, wispy leaf plants produce large (7-12oz./200-350g), pink hearts, that are very meaty and have very few seeds. Sweet, and well-balanced, rich tomato flavors. Early to mid-season.
