About Anahu
‘Anahu’ was developed by Hawaiian tomato breeder Dr. Jim Gilbert, who named it after one of his students who died in the Korean war. This is a very productive determinate variety that produces 5-8 oz., round, uniform ripening, red fruit with very sweet flavors. A good choice for hot damp; humid climates. Resistant to the common root-knot nematode, fusarium wilt, gray leaf spot, and one strain of spotted wilt virus. It is also tolerant to the tobacco mosaic virus. About 75-80 days to maturity.

Ok, I live in Kihei and have grown a variety of cherry/grape tomatoes over the years, but I have never had a plant that looked healthy but produced absolutely no fruit over a six month period until I tried Anahu tomatoes. I even tried a second plant with the same results. Never have I had a tomato not produce anything. What gives?
