About Amursky Tigr Rozovyi (Амурский Тигр Розовыйи)

‘Amursky Tigr Rozovyi’ is a Russian commercial variety, created by Kachaynik Vladimir Georgievich, Gulkin Mikhail Nikolaevich, Karmanova Olga Alekseevna, Matyunina Svetlana Vladimirovna and introduced commercially by ‘Aelita’ seed company*, and included in the Russian State Register in 2015.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with large (9oz./250g and more), oblate, slightly ribbed on the shoulders fruits with very dark, crimson-colored flesh and dark green stripes on brownish fruit (yellow epidermis). The flesh is tender, juicy, fragrant. Excellent, sweet tomato taste with a touch of acidity. Early to midseason.

*There is also another, hybrid tomato, under the name ‘Amursky Tigr’, introduced commercially by the same seed company. It produces small (4oz./100g), round, red and orange, striped fruits.
