About Altayskiy Oranzhevyy (Алтайский Оранжевый, Altayskiy Oranzhevyi)
‘Altaiskiy Oranzhevyy’ is a Russian commercial variety, bred by breeders from Russian Region Altai – hence the name of this variety. Listed in the Russian State Register since 2007. Introduced commercially by the originator, Russian agricultural company ‘Demeter-Sibir’. Indeterminate, regular leaf vines, produces beautiful, large (about 10-14 oz.) orange beefsteak tomatoes. Excellent, sweet taste with a few fruity notes, rich and bold tomato flavor. Midseason, about 75 days to maturity.
