About Abano
‘Abano’ is an Italian variety from Piedmont Region. It produces very big (about 12-28 oz.) red beefsteaks, slightly flattened and ribbed on the shoulder. Very meaty yet juicy flesh, with very few seeds. Rich, good balanced tomato flavor and oldfashioned aroma. Very good yield from midseason. Plants grows high, up to about 2 metres, indeterminate, regular leaf foliage.
