About Abano

‘Abano’ is an Italian variety from Piedmont Region. It produces very big (about 12-28 oz.) red beefsteaks, slightly flattened and ribbed on the shoulder. Very meaty yet juicy flesh, with very few seeds. Rich, well-balanced tomato flavor and old-fashioned aroma. Very good yield from midseason.
