Cranberry Tomato Gin Fizz

Cranberry Tomato Gin Fizz is a refreshing cocktail filled with sweet and tangy flavors. This very simple, but elegant drink recipe uses natural flavors of cherry tomatoes and the sweetness from homemade cranberry and maple syrup sauce.

Serves 4


Cranberry Syrup

1.5 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
0.5 cup water
1 cup maple syrup

Cranberry Tomato Gin Fizz

0.5 cup fresh cherry tomatoes
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pomegranate juice
2/3 cup gin
Sparkling water
Ice cubes
Small tomato and rosemary for garnish


To make the Cranberry Syrup:

Put the cranberries, maple syrup, and water into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Turn down the heat to a minimum and cook stirring frequently until the cranberries are soft and shiny.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and mash the cranberries into a paste with the fork. Chill.

To make the Cranberry Tomato Gin Fizz

Cut the cherry tomatoes in a half and put them into a pitcher. Add the chilled cranberry sauce, orange and pomegranate juices, gin, and stir to combine.
Using the strainer, pour the mixture into 4 glasses filled with ice cubes, add sparkling water and stir.
Garnish with sliced tomatoes and rosemary.
