Questions

How do I prevent blossom end rot?

The occurrence of blossom end rot can be prevented by foliar feeding of tomato plants with calcium fertilizer. In dry and hot summers, tomato plants have difficulty absorbing calcium from the substrate through the root system. Therefore, a good solution is to provide calcium with foliar fertilization. Even consistent watering also helps to provide a consistent flow of nutrients from the root system up into the cell walls of the fruit.
