Marek’s Pointy Heart

Marek’s Pointy heart is a variety originated from Bulgaria; Frederick Denny received the seed (or plants) from his local Bulgarian gardening friend, Marek. None of them knew the original name of this variety, so Frederick Denny called it Marek’s Pointy Heart. Beautiful, medium to large (200-400g), meaty with very few seeds, red pointy hearts, with excellent, sweet flavor- juicy and full of aroma. Indeterminate, vigorous, very prolific plants with regular wispy foliage. +/- 80 days.
