El-Amar

El-Amar is a great, pink fruited variety from Palestine, cultivated there for generations. A variety with large, meaty and sweet beefsteak-type fruit. The plant is very fertile, healthy, high-yielding, with particularly high resistance to drought. It yields reliably throughout the season until frost. Large (about 350-650g), very tasty fruit, rather sweet than sour, firm and juicy flesh. Midseason, about 80 days from transplant.
